Edit or delete your own posts, share any reply with its own link, community posts and section links preview properly, GIFs play in Discord, your chosen Bobo stays chosen, and communities get stronger rules.
The Bobo team
Open the menu on your own post to find Edit post and Delete post. You can edit a post within an hour of posting, right on the post, and it shows Edited afterwards. Deleting asks first and removes the replies, likes and reposts with it.
Every reply has a Share button. Its link opens the thread right at that reply, highlighted, even in long threads, and the preview shows the reply with what it answers quoted underneath.
Share a post or reply with a GIF, uploaded or from the GIF picker, and the GIF plays in the Discord preview. X shows the still card.
A shared post from a public community now previews as the post itself, with a Posted in badge showing the community name and icon. Posts in private communities stay private.
Links to Bobodex, The Index, Leaderboards, the Marketplace, Social, Studios, Gaming HQ and more now preview with their own card and real Bobo art, instead of one card for the whole site. What's New has its own card showing the latest release.
A ban from a community now covers the person, not just one Bobo, so switching Bobos does not get around it, and a ban removes them from the community. Nobody can ban a community owner, and only the owner can ban a moderator. Mentions in a community post only reach people who can read that community.
When a shared Bobo is listed on the Bobodex marketplace, its preview shows that price first, before listings on other marketplaces.
Posts, replies and polls in a community are now only visible to people who can join it, everywhere on the site, and data can only be changed through Bobodex itself. Posts keep to 280 characters.
If you hold a lot of Bobos, the Bobo you chose to post as could switch back to your first Bobo after a refresh, and a post or reply could go out as the wrong one. Your choice now stays put.
Opening the GIF picker while replying cut off its search box and first rows. The GIF and emoji pickers now float above the page, sit right on their button and stay on screen on phones. Escape clears the search first and no longer throws away your draft.
